THE POLLS of said election will be open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m. 7350 LINDSEY RD., PLAINWELL ORANGEVILLE TOWNSHIP HALL
Electors who wish to receive an Absentee Voter Ballot by mail may submit an AV application for the November 7, 2023 Special Election by Friday, November 3, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. In addition to regular office hours the clerk will be in the office Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday, November 6th, 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. for qualified electors wishing to obtain an absentee ballot. Electors may obtain an Absentee Voter Ballot for the election and may vote in person in the Township Clerk’s office up to 4:00 p.m. on November 6, 2023. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that this election is for the purpose of Martin Public Schools Bond Proposal: Shall Martin Public Schools, Allegan and Barry Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Seventeen Million One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($17,150,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefor, in one or more series, for the purpose of:
erecting, furnishing, and equipping an addition to a school building, remodeling, including security improvements to, furnishing and refurnishing, and equipping and re-equipping school buildings; acquiring and installing instructional technology and instructional technology equipment for school buildings; purchasing school buses; and equipping, developing, and improving playgrounds, parking area, and sites?
